Wrist pain

Wrist pain can occur after a fall or after a sporting injury. It is important for the wrist to be assessed by either a doctor or physiotherapist to exclude a fracture and diagnose the problem.

Some people find that they have a lot of stiffness after the plaster is removed following a fracture. Physiotherapy can help with exercise and advice on what to do at home. In many instances we can give additional help with movements of the wrist and other pain relieving modalities such as acupuncture or ultrasound.
